The 15 Minute Workout Dec 19 2017

Our personal training colleagues at Soho Fitness Lab have come up with the perfect 15 minute workout to stay in shape over the busy Christmas period.

It can hard to find the time to exercise when you are busy rushing around to get to work, or you are knackered after a long day in the office. So we thought we would give you a helping hand and come up with four quick 15-minute body weight workouts you can do anywhere, anytime, with no equipment what so ever. Plus, body weight exercises are a great way to improve fitness levels and strength, and will keep you fit and healthy.

THE CIRCUIT
Each circuit is going to consist of four different exercises and a total of three rounds. You will need to set your timer to 45 seconds on and 15 seconds of rest. Once you have completed a full round, rest for 1 minute and repeat again until you have completed three rounds in total.

CARDIO
10 mountain climbers and 10 high knees
Squat jumps
Burpee with a 180 jump
Jumping jacks

LOWER BODY
Reverse lunge to high knee (R)
Reverse lunge to high knee (L)
Squat with side kick (alternate L & R)
Hip raises

UPPER BODY
Plank to press
Push ups with jumping jacks
Burpee with one armed punch (L and R alternate)
Inch worm

CORE
2 Plank to press and 2 Plank tuck jumps
Bicycle crunches
4 V-Sits, roll over, 10 mountain climbers, roll over
Plank with shoulder taps, to knee taps to feet taps
