Leanne has a wide range of experience in public health care, sports injury clinics and corporate settings since graduating in 2008.
She has a keen interest in rehabilitation back to sport and injury prevention screening for athletes and runners. Her work includes providing physiotherapy for athletes competing in the Junior National Tennis Championships, Olympic Anniversary Games and London Youth Games. Leanne has a special interest in musculoskeletal biomechanics and currently runs the physiotherapy clinic for the London Podiatry Centre in charge of rehabilitation following specialist gait analysis.
Leanne’s work within the corporate setting has included large companies such as Morgan Stanley, this has given her a great insight into the effects of posture and working biomechanics and their effect on injury recovery. She understands the challenges that face patients managing a busy work schedule with physical well being.
In addition to Leanne’s skills as a manual therapist and rehabilitaion specialist she is also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and has undertaken courses to further her knowledge in this area. This range of skills equips Leanne with the ability to provide effective and efficient care to restore and maintain the physical wellbeing of her patients.
